Wasbloem - Wax Plant (Hoya australis - Asclepiadaceae)

Hoya australis doesn't flower as easily and frequently as Hoya carnosa, which forms bunches of flowers now and then all during the summer season, and in favourable circumstances can be very full of flowers too.
But this autumn (2001) suddenly both my plants of
Hoya australis came into bud, one of them with at least 20 bunches, of which a photo on the right.
The other photos show details from the same plant.
In the bottom-left corner of the photo you see a few flowers of meadow saffron
(Colchicum autumnale), growing in the garden at this time (October).

The upper 3 photos of this houseplant were taken in the garden, but the 2 pictures just above in the window. Below you see a scan.
The differences in colour are caused by the totally different light conditions.
